I was greatly privileged to be asked to record the mezzo lines in the chorus of Julian Marshall’s cantata The Angel in the Forest, along with one tenor and one bass colleague from The Rupa Ensemble. The piece was composed for tenor James Gilchrist, and is one of a series of works (The Welten Project) by Marshall inspired by the poetry of Gertrud Kolmar.
